3 Teams were entered once again this year, one in each class. The 1st Team reached the play-offs, but lost a close tie away to Lansdowne 1. The 2nd and 3rd Teams didn't make it to the play-offs this year. Well done to everyone who took part.
We entered 3 teams this year, one in each of the three classes. Class 1 is for those who played no higher than Summer League Class 3/4 in 2008 or 2009. The team just missed out on the play-offs having finished on equal points for second place but losing out on the tie-break rules. Class 2 is for those who played no higher than Summer League Class 5/6 in either of the last two years. They finished the section with mid-table respectability. Class 3 is for those who played no higher than Summer League Class 7 (or didn't play at all) in either of the last two years. The 3rd team also finished with mid-table respectability. Well done to all who played!
2008 Report:
The 2nd team just missed out on the play-offs, having to settle for a third place finish in their section. The 1st team comfortably made the play-offs and had a home match against Swords 2 to play on Wednesday 6th August at 7.30pm. They won that match to earn an away tie to Leixlip 1 on Friday 8th August at 7.30pm. They lost three tough matches to go out in the quarter final stages. Well done to all who took part for both teams.
