Floodlight League 2008:

Our Men's 2nd team reached the play-offs.  The first round match was away to Charleville 2 on Monday 10th November at 8.30pm, and was won by LCC.  The quarter-final was on Monday 17th November at home to Mount Pleasant 4, and was won by LCC again to ensure they will be playing in Class 3 next year!  The semi-final was at home on Wednesday 19th November at 7.30pm against Dunboyne 1.  Dunboyne won a close encounter 2-1 to knock us out, but well done to all who played, and congratulations on getting promoted!  The Men's 1st team were unfortunately relegated down to Class 3.  The Men's 3rd team will have to make do with playing in the same class again next year.  The Ladies 1st and 2nd teams secured another year in Class 2 and 4 respectively.

LCC Team News 2007:

Our Men's 1st Team were unlucky not to make the play-offs in their first year back in Class 2.  All the other teams had to make do with retaining their current class status.

LCC Team News 2006:

Our Men's 1st Team gained promotion to Class 2.  They played their quarter final match against DeVesci 1sts on Monday 13th November at 7.30pm in LCC, and won.  The semi was played on Thursday 16th November (postponed from Wednesday 15th November due to bad weather) at 7.30pm away to Swords 1.  A tough match was lost 2-1, but well done to all involved as they look forward to playing Class 2 next year!
